Trusting Him at all times

Hebrews 11:6, "And without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is and that He is a rewarder of those who seek Him." (NASB)

As we trust Him in all things, we bring glory to Him. In seeking Him for the next step in the ministry, Dan and I laid out and discussed and prayed about many different possibilities. One of them did not require much faith. As I prayed about this possibility, the one thing I heard in my spirit loud and clear was, "This is too easy, it doesn't require faith." That is when I knew that was not the way our ministry should go.
God's plan is bigger than you and will require faith for you to accomplish. It will stretch you and grow your faith stronger.
In reading the Bible, I see over and over that God called people to do impossible tasks, and things they could not do in their own power. He is calling us to do the same! We need to trust Him for the provision, strength, and power to accomplish what He has called us to do for His glory.

Hello friends,

John 15:12-13, "This is My commandment, That you love one another, as I have loved you. Greater love has no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends."
In thinking about these verses, I began asking myself what does it look like to daily lay down our lives for one another? I began to imagine what it would look like to the world for them to witness this type of love. The God kind of love that thinks of others first, and looks out for the interests of others first. This kind of love is the first fruit of the Spirit. It is the first evidence that we are truly His children. It refuses to say or do anything that may harm another. The God kind of love works no ill. It is the refusal to participate in gossip in any way; for gossip does harm to others. The God kind of love is unconditional and not based on what others have done for us or to us or have not done for us or to us.
His love is amazing and has been shed in our hearts. So we have the ability to love others the way He loves us. The key here is the "way" He loves us!!! As we obey Him in our love walk; it will glorify Him and draw others to Him. The world will know we are His disciples (followers) because of our love for one another. I desire to live for His Glory by walking in His love!!
I tell my children all the time, let others see you loving each other. Let's not fight, it is not attractive to others. The fruit of the Spirit is attractive! It looks good! Let's live for His glory!

Hi everyone,

My name is Charlene Wallenbeck. I have been happily married for 20 years to Daniel Wallenbeck. We have five children; Kristen, 16, Andrew 14, Austin 11, Abigail 7, and Victoria 5. I graduated from Southeastern Bible College in Lakeland Fl. in 1990 with a degree in Elementary Education. I taught school for threee years before having my own children. After the birth of my first, I stayed home for 15 years and homeschooled for 8 years. About 3 years ago, my husband and I prayed and felt the leading of the Lord for me to go back into teaching full time. I am teaching reading for grades k-6 at Mt. Morris Central School. I really enjoy my job. I also went back to school to get my masters in reading and literacy. I recently graduated from Walden University. My husband and I pioneered a church last September. It has been an awesome adventure to serve God in this capacity. It is my joy to serve with my husband in helping people discover who they are in Christ. My goal in this life is to live for the glory of God and bring many into His Kingdom!! There is no greater joy than walking and talking with Jesus daily in everything I do whether it be cleaning my house, helping a neighbor, leading a prayer group, or anything else God has in store for me, I want to do all things in such a way that brings Him glory and honor. This blog will be all about living for His Glory!! There will be many more post and I pray that you will be blessed through them.

In Christ,

Charlene Wallenbeck
